About Our Villa
There are only 36-units in the entire Tidewatch complex. In our our building, fronting on the Nantucket Sound, there just six separate units. Only three or four condos in Tidewatch are seasonal rentals. We have a full-time onsite building manager to look over things, and he even cleans the windows of salt spray after a storm. Our first floor unit is outlined below. It is perched above the water and its two covered decks offer 340 sf space – plenty of room for a dozen gliders and Adirondack chairs, plus two dinning tables each seating four.
Our end unit offers total privacy; you’ll see no one from the private “Ship’s Prow” deck overlooking the beach and Martha’s Vineyard. Our spacious 1050 sf, 1BR/1BA unit is just 50 feet from the sea at high tide. Open the windows and truly see, hear and smell the surf.

Go through the Ship’s Prow deck gate, step down and walk two-minutes to your private beach. There is never a crowd or noise. No one plays loud music and even hearing a TV is rare, but conversation is common as folks mingle over cocktails in teh courtyard seating areas, or over shared meals
on their decks all summer. Step off the ship’s prow deck to a quiet patio. Enjoy a glass of wine – relax after a walk on our two+ mile long beach.
Head down the stone steps (at the red arrow above) to get to the beach, then meander miles of empty shoreline ideal for beach combing. We share the beach with just a few other stately homes. The sand is replenished yearly to keep it pristine. It joins up with the public South Cape Beach, which is about 2.5 miles to the west.
Feel free to wander the paths in the inner courtyard at TW and discover other patios with seating for reading or just listening to the surf. Important for many, there are no steps anywhere from the parking lot, through the building to #4108, out to its decks or to the inner courtyard.
